A wonderful place to unwind—that's what a spacious overnight stay is all about. Wake up in peace and comfort. Open the veranda door, listen to the birdsong, or, with a bit of luck, spot a deer right outside your door.
Coffee, tea, wine, beer, a good book, relaxing, cycling, and walking—anything is possible, nothing is required. In complete comfort, of course.

Room with a view
We are Karen and Jeroen. Our friends have always been delighted with this place where we moved in 2017. Peace, space, nature, birds, squirrels, storks, sheep, horses, and sometimes deer. We thought it would be nice to let more people experience the peace, space, and starry sky here. That's why we built our comfortable holiday home in 2024. For family and friends, but also for others who want to come and enjoy themselves. Feel welcome!

Your nature house is located in both the Drentsche Aa National Park and the Hondsrug Geopark. Hiking trails, cycling routes, mountain biking, or motorbike tours are all available from your own cottage. A tour of Zwanemeer starts right outside your cottage.More focused on experiences or museums? The treetop path and the Hunebed Museum are just two examples of the many possibilities.
